“I took this picture on a Thanksgiving weekend at the Grand Canyon,” says Sarkar. “I love this image because of the beautiful ‘Belt of Venus’ hanging over the majestic canyon during twilight. The belt refers to the pinkish glow seen on the horizon opposite the setting sun and is a phenomenon that’s more vivid during the autumn months than summer. I was certainly thankful to have been able to capture this during my time there!”
