One Pot Backpacking/Camping Meal

CAMPING FOOD
A simple backpacking meal idea using only one pot. High salt and protein content makes it a great meal to recharge after/during a long hike.

Ingredients:
Spicy Chorizo
Smoked Chorizo
Smoked Back Bacon
Canned Tomatoes / Passata
Dried Basil and Oregano
Black Pepper
Macaroni

Equipment:
Knife.
One pot.
Spoon.

Instructions:
Add the chopped chorizo and bacon to the pot.
When the meat has is cooked add the passata, dried herbs and pepper. Stir thoroughly and simmer briefly.
Add the Macaroni or pasta of your choice and cook until the pasta has softened.
Season and add cheese to taste.
Consume.
